1. Terms of Payment

An initial payment of 75% is required on acceptance of the estimate in order to secure your order. Payment can be made by bank transfer or cheque. The remaining balance is then payable upon completion prior to collection or delivery. Supply only of fabric, trimmings, poles/tracks or other such goods are payable in full at the time of order. The soft furnishings (purchases of goods or services) will remain the property of ‘Peony and Cotton’ until payment has been received in full.


2. Supply of Fabrics

Please be aware I only work with fabrics that I supply, unless otherwise agreed. For fabrics not supplied by myself, I am not responsible for the checking of the fabric for any imperfections or the incorrect meterage.


3. Your Personal Estimate

Your bespoke item will be in accordance with the estimate given, anything else required will be deemed as extra and subject to an additional charge. Please note your estimate is valid for 60 days in relation to the make up charge. For items such as fabric, trimmings, poles and tracks, the prices are subject to increase by suppliers and may increase during the decision making process. 


4. Lining

Lining will be standard ivory unless otherwise detailed on your estimate. If a light reducing lining is required this will be specified on the estimate given.


5. Professional Fitter

I work with a professional fitter. The contract for the work, and payment, may be made directly with the fitter if you prefer. You will need to make sure the area is cleared as much as possible prior to the fitting.  

  

6. Inspection

Customers are requested to inspect goods at the time of supply or fitting, to ensure that requirements are met.


7. Colour matching

Every effort is made to ensure that fabric is a close representation to the fabric swatches in the pattern books. However if a true and accurate match is essential, then it is advisable for a ‘stock cutting’ to be requested. This will be sent free of charge.


8. Bespoke items 

Your order is bespoke and is therefore not subject to refund, unless deemed to be faulty. If your order is cancelled, all items ordered for your project will be sent to you at your cost. Any request to cancel must be made in writing.


Once the order is placed and initial payment has been received, it is understood that you accept the above terms and conditions.
